How to Create Arrow Style Lashes

What Are Arrow Style Eyelash Extensions?

Arrow Style Lashes use an upward-pointing outer section to create an elongated, lifted finish. The design commonly incorporates angular eyelash curls such as M Curl lashes, L Curl lashes and Extreme L Curl lashes.

The style can complement almond, round, monolid and downturned eyes when it is mapped to suit the client’s individual features. How to Map an Arrow Style Lash Set

Begin by using a lash mapping pen to draw the design on your chosen eyepatches. Divide the lash line into five main sections, beginning with the shortest extensions at the inner corner and gradually increasing the lengths towards the outer corner.

Divide the fifth and final section into eight smaller segments. Within these segments, gradually increase the extension lengths until you reach the longest point of the set. Then reduce the lengths again towards the very edge of the lash line. This creates the distinctive pointed, V-shaped pattern associated with Arrow Style Lashes.

For a more dramatic finish, use Extreme L Curl lashes within the outer section. Their angular shape provides a pronounced lift that helps define the arrow effect. Mixing compatible curls can create a smooth transition, but the curl, length and weight selected must remain suitable for the client’s natural lashes.

Arrow Style Lash Aftercare

Correct aftercare is essential for keeping the shape clean and helping the extensions last. Advise clients to cleanse their lashes daily with Foaming Lash Shampoo and a Lash Cleansing Brush.
